Director's Note

When we first dove into this magical story, our goal was to bring to life the wonder, heart, and imagination that makes this tale such a beloved classic. Beneath the waves and beyond the shore, The Little Mermaid reminds us all to dream boldly, find our voice, and to follow it–no matter the challenges along the way.
 

This show has been a true labor of love. Our talented cast has poured their hearts into every song, dance, and scene; creating a world where friendship, courage and curiosity shine. Our incredible crew has worked tirelessly behind the curtain, creating a dazzling set, our most ambitious lighting to date and an enormous array of color and texture in our seemingly countless costumes.
 

To our audience–thank you for joining us and supporting the arts in our community, we are afterall, YOUR community theater. Your presence here today helps keep live theater thriving and your encouragement inspires us to continue telling stories that bring people together.
 

And finally, I want to take just a quick moment to thank my daughter, Rowan for doing this one last show with me. As she tackles senior year and college applications in preparation for her next great adventure, I am so happy we got to do one more show together. I couldn’t be more proud and I could not be more blessed than to have been able to share my love of theater with my children.
