Thank you for coming out today to support the amazing community of people that 

gathered together in the middle of their summer and decided to be a part of today’s 

musical. The cast/crew/production team’s whose efforts you are about to enjoy have 

worked tirelessly the last few months to make this show dynamic, colorful, harmonic, 

full of spectacle, and fun. We rehearsed 3 days a week, and worked in between 

rehearsals to memorize lines and lyrics, create and then teach dances that are 

challenging yet achievable and fun, design the set and then effectively use it and so 

much more. Theatre, especially community theatre, is a labor of love. We do this 

because we love it, we love storytelling, singing, dancing, and creating. Whether that 

creation is a character, a set, a costume or a lighting design, we love displaying our 

heart’s work, and even more, we love you for supporting our endeavors. Some of you 

are here because a family member or friend is in or worked on the show; some of you 

are here because you or your kids love Disney’s Descendants; some of you are here 

because you appreciate the fun shows ECT has put on in the past. No matter your 

reason for being here, please know that we are grateful. There is no show without an 

audience and a good and lively audience makes a huge difference to the cast/crew. 

So if you are having fun and appreciate the talent on display, put those hands together 

and let them hear it, you have no idea how much it will mean to them!
